The weather during the two days usually celebrated with Thanksgiving was rather mild during the day and cool at night, allowing many to be outside part of the day. Of course it didn’t hinder the hunters who were looking for that big buck. Saturday was cool just about all day and then on Sunday it was cool to cold most of the day with rain starting off in the early evening and continuing through most of the night.
