It seems once again that spring is here. We had a beautiful Easter weekend with temperatures reaching into the seventies a couple of days, although the wind was cool and even cold at times. The children were able to hunt eggs and play outside with no coats and enjoy the sunny weather.

We had surprise guests drop by on Sunday from West Tennessee for a short visit. George and Nettie Cole and David and Jean Brown were just out riding around and came by for a little while. Nettie and Jean are my grandmother Carrie’s nieces. We had a good visit and enjoyed it for I had not seen them in way over a year. My daughter, Selina, grandson, Jesse, Macy, Mile, Zeke, Kaitlynn and Maria Tripp were there. We were at Jesse’s - the children had been hunting eggs and had a great time.

Praying for all those who are still suffering from the covid and even from the shots. Some have been really sick after getting the last shot. Hope you and yours have a great week and enjoy the warmer weather we are getting the chance to enjoy.

Many in the area have gardens out and I hope the cold weather last week didn’t damage those things that already were up and beginning to grow. It is a wonderful time of year when the new leaves and blooms appear all through the wooded area and along the creek. Blue bells are blooming and are really pretty.

May you have a great week and enjoy health and happiness.
